The Nova Grand Prix, often shortened to NGP, or Nova, is an annual song competition inspired by the Eurovision Song Contest, which was created by Nazar Novak, an ordinary student from Ukraine, on February 10, 2014 and open to countries all over the world. The inaugural competition took place on July 2014, in Ottawa, Canada. One hundred and six countries have taken part since the inauguration of the contest.
Format[]
The competition involves one representative from each of the participating countries. The festival is held in an online format. From each country can participate only one representative (soloist, duet etc, or musical band), performing a song. The most popular song is determined by voting of participaning countries
The contest is held annually, in the last full week in July, and is one of the most unusual simulators in the social network "VKontakte". For all time in the competition curators from different countries of the world participated (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Estonia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan).
